Full disclosure. I watched ‘Don’t look up’ on Netflix, so this story did make me a bit jittery. 

An asteroid larger than Burj Khalifa will make its closest Earth approach next week as it speeds over the UAE at 76,192kph on January 18.

Thankfully, the asteroid will fly far away from us, around 1.9 million km from Earth. 

Yay. 

So, if you have a telescope handy, you can take it out and see the giant rock for yourself. 

Also, you should see ‘Don’t Look Up’. It’s really important. 

Just do it after the asteroid passes, though.
