14 Dubai restaurants awarded Michelin stars: Check the list here
Foodies in the UAE can update their list of places to try out this year as the Michelin Guide Dubai announced their recognitions for 2023 on Tuesday, May 23.
The award ceremony took place at the Atlantis The Royal and top restaurants, chefs and industry professionals were recognised for their achievements. This was the second edition of the Michelin Guide ceremony as the prestigious food awards were first introduced in Dubai in 2022.
Stars are awarded solely for the quality of food. One star is conferred upon venues that use “top-quality ingredients, where dishes with distinct flavours are prepared to a consistently high standard”, according to the Michelin Guide’s website.
The guide awards two stars to restaurants where the “personality and talent of the chef are evident in their expertly crafted dishes”. Here’s a look at the 14 restaurants in Dubai with Michelin stars, starting with the three new holders.
