Dubai Food Festival sees the city’s restaurants putting on a series of masterclasses, special edition chef tables, and dining experiences.

Avatara: Vegetarians Chef Table

Vegetarians will be happy to hear that new spot Avatara is getting involved in the Dubai Food Festival. Fresh produce and dairy products from local farms will come together to create the veggie fine dining menu inspired by humble seasonal ingredients.

BOCA: Pickl x Boca

Pickl will collaborate with DIFC’s sustainable fine dining champion Boca for a one-of-a-kind collaboration dinner. We are told there will be a focus on organic locally sourced produce as the best of fast food and fine dining come together for an epic feast.

1004 Gourmet: Sushi and Dumpling making classes

Ever wondered how Japanese restaurants effortlessly wrap dumplings and how their sushi rolls just stick together? Then the 1004 Gourmet’s exclusive sushi and dumpling masterclasses are for you. Learn from the experts as you get hands-on with Japanese fare.

Gulf Photo Plus: Karama Photo Walk

Your kids will feel as if they’ve stepped into Willy Wonka’s chocolate factory with a trip to Wonderbee ice cream parlour on Bluewaters this weekend. Children can get hands-on with an ice cream sandwich making class for Dh100. Little ones will enjoy expressing their creativity with rich flavours, crunchy toppings and cookies under the cheerful guidance of the shop’s ice cream specialists.
