Abu Dhabi T10 2025: Rutherford blasts Aspin Stallions into the final as UAE Bulls light up Abu Dhabi with record-equalling total

It was a night of big hits, bigger drama, and even bigger statements at the 2025 Abu Dhabi T10, and two teams walked away with momentum firmly on their side.

Rutherford goes berserk as Stallions charge into the final

Aspin Stallions booked the first spot in the final after Sherfane Rutherford produced one of the most explosive knocks of the tournament. The left-hander unleashed pure mayhem, 66 off just 22 balls, featuring six fours and six towering sixes, to chase down Quetta Qavalry’s 102 with seven wickets and seven balls to spare.

It didn’t look easy early on. After being shaken at 13/2, the Stallions needed someone to take charge. Gurbaz offered calm, but it was Rutherford who shifted the match into overdrive. A burst of boundaries off Abbas Afridi and Majid Ali turned the chase on its head, and by the time he hammered three sixes and a four in the ninth over, the Qavalry had no answers.

With this, the Stallions marched straight into the final, while the Qavalry, now on a two-match slide, will have to fight their way through the Eliminator winner to earn a rematch.

UAE Bulls smash their way into the record books

If the first match was about a solo masterclass, the second was all about collective carnage.

The UAE Bulls equalled the highest total in Abu Dhabi T10 history, posting a towering 162/3 in an innings drenched in sixes,16 of them.

Phil Salt set the tone immediately, blasting 59 off 26 with seven sixes, including three in a row off Akif Javed. James Vince chipped in with a crisp 21 as the Bulls rocketed to a 68-run opening stand.

But the real fireworks came later.

Tim David (40 off 13) and Rovman Powell (32 off 10) turned the middle overs into a demolition zone. David smoked four consecutive sixes, and Powell pumped three more maximums along with three fours, leaving the Titans stunned and scoreboards sizzling.

The Bulls’ dominant performance couldn’t have come at a better time, as the playoff race intensifies and momentum becomes priceless.
