Air France has resumed flights between Paris and Dubai, restoring a direct link between the two cities from Wednesday, August 26.

The airline has restarted services on the Paris-Dubai route, with flights operating three times a week, according to company data.

The airline has also resumed flights to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, as international airlines gradually restore their Middle East networks following months of airspace restrictions and security concerns.

The resumption comes as Dubai International Airport continues to strengthen its international connectivity.

Air France’s website listed flight AF655 from Dubai to Paris, departing at 12:40am on Thursday, indicating that regular operations are being restored.

Dubai Airports CEO Paul Griffiths confirmed that Air France had returned to Dubai, adding that demand for the resumed service was particularly strong.

The return of Air France’s Paris-Dubai service adds further capacity to one of the world’s key aviation hubs and strengthens travel links between France and the UAE.
