Fans who purchased tickets for Indian singer Arijit Singh’s live concert in Abu Dhabi can now claim a full refund, after the show was officially postponed due to ongoing tensions between India and Pakistan.

The concert, originally scheduled for Friday, May 9, 2025, at Etihad Arena, Yas Island, has been delayed, with a new date to be announced soon. 

In an official statement shared on Instagram, Arijit’s team said:

“Due to recent events, we have made the difficult decision to postpone the Arijit Singh live concert in Abu Dhabi. We deeply appreciate your patience, support, and understanding during this time.”

Organisers confirmed that all purchased tickets will remain valid for the new date, which will be announced soon. Refunds will also be available starting May 12 for those who wish to opt out.

The decision follows recent tragic developments in the region.

Arijit had also cancelled a concert in Chennai earlier this month following the incident in India. His team reiterated their commitment to safety and expressed gratitude to fans for their understanding.
