Classic cars to take over Dubai’s Safa Park for ‘grand picnic’

If you love cars, food and a good picnic, Safa Park is the place to be on January 22, Sunday. The annual event ‘grand picnic’ is organised by Flat12. The event is dedicated to a day of cars, food, coffee, and community. Flat12 will be hosting their ‘Dubai Grand Picnic’ event for the third time this year.

The family-friendly event will be for the first time encouraging car owners to dress as per the era of their car – whilst non car visitors can choose any era. Hungry guests can bring their own picnic spread or look forward to sampling six different food vendors including a pop-up of the Flat12 Cafe, Ugly Noodles, Ice Kream, Double Patty, Lit Pizza and My Pekoe. The best news is that the event is free to attend, but you will need to pay the Dhs3 per person park entry fee. This year, the event received 1,900 registrations (spanning classic and rare sports cars, trucks, and motorcycles) according to stats released by Flat12. Registrations to enrol are now closed, but you can still come as a spectator and enjoy the cool vibes.
