Didn’t make it to Burj Khalifa on New Year’s Eve? Here’s how to see the show for free
Missed out on the Burj Khalifa New Year’s Eve celebrations? Don’t worry, you still have time to catch the magic.
Dubai rang in 2026 with one of its biggest parties yet, featuring a spellbinding mix of fireworks, lasers, drones and synchronised Dubai Fountain performances, all set against the world’s tallest building. While thousands packed into Downtown Dubai, and some paid premium prices for front-row views, not every part of the spectacle was limited to just one night.
According to Emaar, the Burj Khalifa laser show, drone sequences and Dubai Fountain performances will continue nightly until Wednesday, January 7. The shows take place every evening at 8.30pm, and best of all, they’re completely free to watch.
While the fireworks were exclusive to NYE, visitors can still enjoy many highlights of the original celebration. Expect sweeping laser visuals lighting up the Burj Khalifa facade, drone formations illuminating the sky, and fountain displays perfectly timed to music and light.
The extended shows give residents and visitors a chance to experience the NYE atmosphere without the crowds or the hefty restaurant bills.
So if you thought you missed out, fret not. Simply head to Downtown Dubai over the next few nights and experience the Burj Khalifa laser show live.
