Donald Trump jr. wishes Dubai real estate exec luck in his new venture. But who is he?

Dubai: Donald Trump Jr. doesn’t need any introduction. The American property bigwig is the eldest son of former US President and real estate tycoon Donald Trump and serves as executive vice president of The Trump Organisation. And so, when he takes time out of his jet setting busy schedule to send out a message to a Dubai executive taking on a new role, then it becomes a matter of intrigue for us.

And that is what led us to find out the story of Pamul Sharma, who recently joined Dubai-based luxury real estate company Kinglsey Properties as their Vice President.

In the congratulatory video message, Donald Trump Jr is seen saying: “Pamul, this is Donald Trump Jr. Congratulations on your new role at Kingsley Properties, and I wish you all the best of luck, keep working hard, and maybe I’ll see you soon in Dubai my friend (sic)”

Sharma, who first saw and heard Trump Jr. speak at an exclusive launch event in the emirate in 2017, said it was then when he first truly understood the stature of the Trump scion. “I still remember the passion with which he spoke about his vision for Dubai and his billion-dollar businesses around the world. And seeing this video from him pop up on my phone today makes me feel even more excited recalling that special evening,” he said while remembering his ‘wow moment’ with the former boardroom judge on hit NBC reality TV show The Apprentice at the inauguration of the Trump International Golf Club in Dubai. The glitzy ceremony was organised by Damac Properties where Sharma worked back then.

“I didn’t expect this and I’m glad he recognises that he always has a friend in Dubai. I can’t wait to see him when he is here next”, said the Indian, who received this video message not long after making his new role at Kinglsey public on social media platforms.

“It’s not often that you see people celebrating each other’s successes in this industry but for someone like Donald Trump Jr. to do that is hugely motivating,” said Sharma who will now helm the company founded in 1998, out of its Dubai Marina HQ.
