Dubai Fountain’s final show: Don’t miss it this Saturday before its closes down

It’s your final curtain call. This Saturday, April 19, marks the last chance to witness the dazzling Dubai Fountain before it shuts down for a major makeover.
Located in the heart of Downtown Dubai, the world-famous dancing fountain, famed for its water jets that soar up to 140 metres high, will go temporarily dark as it gears up for a five-month transformation starting in May.
Originally set to close in May, Emaar dropped a surprise update in March, announcing an earlier closure date, April 19. So, if you haven’t caught the magic yet, this weekend is your final shot.
What’s Coming?
The fountain is getting a high-tech facelift, with cutting-edge choreography, sound, lighting, and tech upgrades set to make your future fountain visits even more jaw-dropping.
The showstopper is expected to return in October, better than ever.
A Spectacle Like No Other
Stretching across two football fields in Burj Lake, the Dubai Fountain features 22,000 gallons of water dancing to music every 30 minutes between 6 pm and 11 pm daily. Bonus: You can catch special afternoon shows at 1 pm and 1:30 pm (Sat–Thurs), and at 2 pm and 2:30 pm on Fridays.
Want front-row seats? Head to the Dubai Fountain Boardwalk, just nine metres from the action on a floating platform.
While the fountain takes a break, the rest of Downtown Dubai stays open. Don’t miss this show before it goes for an upgrade.
