Dubai Global Village to host dazzling Eid Al Etihad celebrations with drone shows, fireworks, and live performances
Global Village is turning up the celebrations this season, and it’s going to be a week to remember! From November 27 to December 3, the region’s favourite multicultural hotspot will transform into a vibrant tribute to the UAE’s 54th Eid Al Etihad under the theme “United.”
Expect the park to dazzle with iconic decorations, UAE flag-inspired lights, and ten Insta-worthy cultural installations celebrating Emirati traditions. Every corner will shimmer in red, white, green, and black, a glowing reflection of the nation’s unity and pride.
And yes, the fireworks are back, bigger and brighter than ever! From 1 to 3 December at 9pm, the skies above Global Village will sparkle in UAE colours, followed by jaw-dropping UAE-themed drone shows on 1 and 2 December.
Over at the Main Stage, a spectacular dance operetta, “From the Desert to the Stars,” will take audiences on an emotional journey celebrating the UAE’s union, performed twice daily from December 1 to 3.
To keep the rhythm alive, traditional Yola and Harbiya performances will bring authentic Emirati energy across the park. And for a dose of Khaleeji pop? Don’t miss Khalid Mohammed performing live on 1 December at 9pm.
Shoppers can dive into Emirati-made treasures at the Emirates Pavilion, 971 Community Pavilion, and Khalifa Bin Zayed Foundation Pavilion, each showcasing beautiful crafts and local products. The Heritage Village will also shine with traditional handicrafts and cultural displays that tell the story of the UAE’s rich heritage.
And of course, no celebration is complete without food. Indulge in Luqaimat, Ragag, and other homegrown favourites alongside global flavours scattered across the park.
So gather your friends, dress in the colours of the flag, and head to Global Village, where unity, creativity, and celebration come together in one magical week.
