Dubai Grand Prix back on track. Here’s what you need to know
While Abu Dhabi might be the home for Formula 1 in the UAE, in the rearview mirror, Dubai is getting ready to overtake.
This November, fans of extremely fast cars zipping around a racetrack are in for a treat as the city gears up for the Historic Dubai Grand Prix Revival in November. The original Dubai Grand Prix was held back in 1981 when 120 cars were shipped over to Dubai for a one-off event including F1 demonstrations, a celebrity race, and sports car competitions.
Here’s what you can expect.
A supercar smorgasbord for the fans
The three-day motor festival at the Dubai Autodrome will feature over 100 classic cars. The event will also include massive blasts from the speedy past with two F1 category races featuring cars from 1970 to 2010.
What’s more?
The three-day racing festival will feature some of the world’s most iconic cars from its most iconic races including Le Mans, the Dakar Rally, and Formula One. The Historic Dubai Grand Prix Revival starts on November 25 with a practice and qualification day before two days of racing on November 26 and 27.
Suffice to say, if you love things that look fast and go even faster, November is going to be amazing!
