Dubai Marina’s Ciel crowned world’s tallest hotel by Guinness World Records
Dubai’s skyline has a new record-holder. Guinness World Records has officially recognised Ciel Dubai Marina as the World’s Tallest Hotel, further cementing the city’s reputation for architectural ambition and bold design.
Soaring 377.1 metres above Dubai Marina, the hotel is part of IHG’s Vignette Collection and has been developed by The First Group. The landmark property features 1,004 rooms and suites, offering panoramic views of the marina and the city beyond.
The Guinness World Records title marks a major milestone for the project, which has been years in the making. Rob Burns, CEO of The First Group, said the recognition reflects the scale of collaboration behind the development.
The hotel combines contemporary architecture with luxury hospitality, offering curated dining experiences, wellness facilities, event spaces and sweeping views.
Located in the heart of Dubai Marina, the hotel places guests within easy reach of JBR Beach, Palm Jumeirah, Bluewaters Island, and Dubai Marina Mall, with seamless access to water taxis, the tram and metro network.
With its Guinness World Records title now official, Ciel Dubai Marina stands not just as the world’s tallest hotel, but as a new symbol of Dubai’s drive to push boundaries in architecture, tourism and luxury living.
