Eid Al Adha 2025 in the UAE: Park timings, free parking, and family-friendly festivities

With Eid Al Adha just days away, the UAE is buzzing with excitement and preparations. The holiday is one of the most significant occasions on the Islamic calendar, marked by prayer, reflection, generosity, and joyful gatherings with loved ones.

To ensure a seamless and family-friendly experience, municipalities across the Emirates have announced special park timings, public beach arrangements, and free parking throughout the festive break.

Dubai’s Parks Open Late for Eid

Dubai Municipality has extended the opening hours of public parks to allow families to enjoy the cooler evenings during Eid Al Adha. From June 5 to 8, here’s what to expect:

  • General park hours: 8am to midnight
  • Sports walkways: Open after Fajr prayer
  • Major parks (8am to 11pm):
    • Zabeel Park
    • Creek Park
    • Al Mamzar Park
    • Al Safa Park
    • Mushrif Park

Special facilities:

  • Mountain bike track and walking trail at Mushrif Park: 5am to 6pm
  • Children’s City:
    • Weekdays (Mon–Fri): 9am to 8pm
    • Weekend (Sat–Sun): 2pm to 8pm
  • Quranic Park: 8am to 10pm
    • Cave of Miracles & Glasshouse: 9am to 9pm

Additionally, four Dubai public beaches have been allocated exclusively for families during the holiday to create a safer, more inclusive environment.

Sharjah Park Hours for Eid

Sharjah Municipality has also announced extended hours for its most popular parks. From June 5 to 8, the following parks will be open from 7:30am to 11pm:

  • Sharjah National Park
  • Green Belt Ladies Park
  • Rolla Square Park
  • Al Suyoh Parks (for Families & Ladies)

Neighbourhood parks will operate daily from 4pm to 10pm throughout the Eid break.

Free Parking Across Dubai

Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) confirmed that all public parking will be free during the Eid break, except in multi-level parking terminals. This move aims to ease traffic congestion and make it easier for families to explore the city’s many festive spots.

A Celebration of Faith and Community

Eid Al Adha commemorates Prophet Ibrahim’s devotion and marks a time of spiritual reflection, generosity, and community spirit. As the UAE prepares to mark the holiday with cannon fire, prayers, and festivities, residents are encouraged to celebrate responsibly, enjoy quality time with family, and embrace the values of unity and compassion that define this sacred occasion.
