Epic Bollywood show ‘Humare Ram’ makes international debut at Dubai Opera this Thursday

One of India’s most talked-about theatrical spectacles is coming to Dubai. ‘Humare Ram’, a visually stunning reimagining of the ancient epic Ramayana, will make its international debut at Dubai Opera from August 14-17.

Starring popular Bollywood actors Ashutosh Rana as Ravan and Rahull R Bhuchar as Ram, the production blends powerful performances with breathtaking visuals to invite audiences to reflect on what it means to walk a righteous path in today’s chaotic world.

A musical powerhouse
The show features an original score composed by Bollywood music icons Sonu Nigam, Shankar Mahadevan, and Kailash Kher, adding emotional depth and grandeur to the timeless story.

Directed by Gaurav Bhardwaj and produced by Felicity Theatre, the production innovatively explores untold chapters of the Ramayana, offering fresh perspectives on the epic tale through emotionally resonant storytelling and spiritual depth. Creator-actor Bhuchar spent over two years researching different versions, from Valmiki and Tulsidas to the lesser-known Adbhut Ramayana, to craft an authentic yet groundbreaking adaptation
