Etihad expands Abu Dhabi flights: Check new schedule, rebooking and refund rules
Etihad Airways has expanded its limited commercial flight schedule, connecting Abu Dhabi to a wide range of global destinations as operations gradually stabilise.
In a statement released on its official website, the airline confirmed it is currently operating flights between Abu Dhabi and several key cities worldwide, while working to accommodate passengers affected by earlier disruptions.
“Etihad Airways is currently operating a limited commercial flight schedule between Abu Dhabi and several key destinations,” the airline said, adding that tickets are now available for booking online.
Global connectivity resumes
The updated schedule includes major cities across Europe, Asia, North America, and the Middle East, such as London, New York, Mumbai, Sydney, and Singapore.
However, Etihad clarified that:
- Not all destinations operate daily
- Flights remain subject to operational approvals
- Schedules may change depending on regional airspace conditions
Important travel advice for passengers
Passengers are urged to take the following steps before heading to the airport:
- Check flight status on etihad.com
- Update contact details via “Manage Booking”
- Contact travel agents directly for changes or refunds (if booked through an agent)
Flexible rebooking and refunds
Etihad is offering flexibility for affected travellers:
- Free rebooking available for tickets issued on or before February 28, 2026
- Valid for original travel dates between February 28 and April 15, 2026
- Rebooking allowed until May 15, 2026 (later dates may incur charges)
- Eligible passengers can also request refunds online
The airline emphasised that it continues to monitor the situation closely and will adjust services as needed.
