Flydubai adds four new European destinations to its network

Dubai’s low-cost airline flydubai is expanding its reach across Europe, with four new destinations set to launch by the end of 2025.
Starting this September, passengers will be able to fly directly from Dubai to Chișinău (Moldova) and Iași (Romania). Then in December, flights to Riga (Latvia) and Vilnius (Lithuania) will take off, marking flydubai’s debut in the Baltic region.

With these additions, the airline’s European network will grow to 35 destinations across 20 countries.

The new route to Iași makes flydubai the first UAE carrier to operate direct flights to the Romanian city. The airline first entered the Romanian market in 2012 with flights to Bucharest.

flydubai’s new services to Riga and Vilnius also mark its first entry into the Baltics, offering travellers more access to lesser-served cities while boosting business, tourism, and cultural exchange between the UAE and Eastern Europe.

“Europe remains an important market for flydubai,” said Jeyhun Efendi, Divisional Senior Vice President of Commercial Operations and E-commerce.

flydubai now operates to over 135 destinations, with about 75 per cent of its routes classified as underserved, according to CEO Ghaith Al Ghaith.

“With this latest expansion, we’re proud to open new opportunities for trade, tourism and connectivity,” Al Ghaith said.
