Flydubai resumes scheduled flights as other UAE airlines issue travel updates
Flydubai has announced the resumption of scheduled flights to several destinations on Thursday, March 5, though some services may still face disruptions where airspace restrictions remain in place.
In a statement on its official website, the Dubai-based carrier said certain flight durations may be longer than usual due to the temporary rerouting of some flight paths.
Passengers can book flights through the airline’s official website, contact centre, or travel agents, the airline said, adding that it continues to monitor the situation closely and adjust operations in line with airspace availability and safety requirements.
UAE Airports Operating Limited Flights
Major UAE airports, including Dubai International Airport (DXB), Al Maktoum International Airport (DWC), Zayed International Airport (AUH), Sharjah International Airport (SHJ), and Ras Al Khaimah International Airport (RKT), have also announced limited flight operations.
Authorities have advised passengers to travel to the airport only if they have a confirmed departure, as schedules remain subject to change.
Airports across the UAE are operating under defined schedules in coordination with airlines, with the safety of passengers and staff being the top priority. Sharjah Airport is also issuing SMS, email and social media alerts to keep travellers updated on flight changes.
