There’s some good news for all Dubai Ride fans, this year’s event just got even better with Careem teaming up with Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) to offer free Careem Bike rentals for everyone taking part in Dubai Ride 2025.

How to grab your free ride

Simply open the Careem app on Saturday, November 2, between 3am and 8am, enter the promo code DR25, and unlock your bike. You can pick one up from pop-up stations at the Museum of the Future or Lower Financial Centre Street, or from any of the 200-plus Careem Bike stations across the city. Just be quick, it’s first-come, first-served.

Worried about going over time? Don’t be. Careem is waiving extra charges if your ride exceeds 45 minutes during the early morning hours. All you need to bring is your own helmet, and make sure you’re registered on the Dubai Ride website before the big day.

Bassel Al Nahlaoui, Managing Director of Mobility at Careem, added that the initiative aims to encourage more people to cycle, stay fit, and enjoy the community spirit that Dubai Ride brings every year.
