Get ready to roll out your workout mat. In celebration of International Yoga Day on June 21, more than 35 iconic locations across the UAE — including the Burj Khalifa, Louvre Abu Dhabi, and Dubai Frame – will transform into open-air yoga spaces as part of one of the biggest wellness events in the country.

Organisers expect over 30,000 participants to join in the nationwide celebration, which reflects the UAE’s ongoing commitment to community well-being and holistic health during the Year of Community 2025.

• Also, some other venues across all seven emirates.

Theme: “Yoga for One Earth, One Health”

This year’s global theme, announced by Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, highlights the role of yoga in promoting harmony between health and the planet. In Abu Dhabi, the event at ADNEC will feature Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan as chief guest and tennis star Sania Mirza as guest of honour.

In Dubai, the Indian Consulate will host a mega session at Expo Centre Sharjah, expected to draw over 5,000 people.

A Step Toward a Healthier Nation

The UAE Yoga Committee is also working under the Ministry of Sports to build a national framework for yoga instruction and regulation, ensuring inclusive access for the country’s 200+ nationalities.
