For the second straight month, the prices of petrol and diesel have been raised.
From March 1, fuel prices for Super 98 will be Dh3.23 per litre. It was priced Dh2.94 per litre in February and Dh2.65 per litre in January. Special 95 will cost Dh3.12 per litre. In February, it was available for Dh2.82 per litre. Diesel will be come at Dh3.19 per litre, which is slightly more as compared to Dh2.88 in February.
Besides, 91 E-plus will cost Dh3.05, up from Dh2.75.
In 2021, the fuel prices for Super 98 in January stood at Dh1.91 per litre. It continued to go up and reached Dh2.77 in December.
It was in August 2015 that the UAE’s Ministry of Energy first began setting fuel prices based on average global prices. Before that the price of petrol was subsidised by the government.
