Fuel prices in UAE drop for June 2023

Fuel prices in the UAE are set to go down for the month of June, after marginally going up in May. Starting June 1, Super 98 petrol will cost AED 2.95 per litre compared to AED 3.16 in May. Special 95 will also drop to AED 2.84 from AED 2.90 per litre, while E-Plus 91 will cost AED 2.76 compared to AED 2.97 last month. Meanwhile, the price of diesel will further fall to AED 2.68 from AED 2.91.

The cost of refilling a petrol tank in the UAE has once again dropped, reaching the lowest prices of the year for E-Plus and diesel. Depending on the type of vehicle you drive, getting a full tank of petrol in June will cost you between Dh10 and Dh11 less than last month. The fluctuation in petrol prices throughout the year can be attributed to the dynamics of the global energy market. To determine whether prices should be increased or decreased, the UAE’s Fuel Price Committee convenes monthly.
