Global Village, Dubai Parks and Resorts closed until March 6 as precaution
Two of the UAE’s major family attractions, Global Village and Dubai Parks and Resorts, have announced they will remain closed until Friday, March 6, as a precaution in line with official guidance and safety procedures.
In a statement shared on social media, Global Village said visitors should check its website and official social channels for updates on the destination’s reopening.
Dubai Parks and Resorts also confirmed the temporary closure and advised guests to monitor official communication channels for further announcements.
Ain Dubai will remain closed on 5 and 6 March as a precautionary safety measure, following official guidance.
Emaar assets operating normally
Meanwhile, Emaar said that all its communities, shopping malls, hospitality assets and development projects continue to operate normally, despite heightened regional tensions.
The developer reassured residents and visitors that operations across its properties remain unaffected.
Authorities urge public to follow official safety guidance
UAE authorities have also urged residents to follow official safety alerts and instructions, stressing that warning messages are issued solely to protect lives.
Officials warned against leaving homes or stopping vehicles to film unfolding situations, noting that such behaviour could put people at risk.
Authorities explained that alerts are part of the UAE’s national early warning system, designed to support preparedness and preventive safety measures.
Residents were also cautioned against spreading rumours or unverified information, with officials reminding the public to rely only on updates from official channels. Under UAE law, sharing false or misleading information may lead to legal penalties.
The UAE Ministry of Interior further advised residents to seek immediate shelter in secure buildings and avoid windows, doors and open areas during potential missile threats.
