How to ring in 2026 on Dubai’s waterways: Your guide to abra, ferry and water taxi experiences
Dubai residents, visitors, and tourists have a unique way to ring in 2026: aboard Dubai’s marine transport network. The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) is inviting everyone to enjoy premium services and special offers on New Year’s Eve, Wednesday, December 31, with stunning views of Dubai’s iconic skyline.
Ride the Waves in Style
- Dubai Ferry: Departures from Marina Mall, Al Ghubaiba, and Bluewaters between 10pm and 10:30pm, returning by 1:30am. Tickets are Dh350 for Silver Class and Dh525 for Gold Class, with a 50% discount for children aged 2–10. Children under two ride free.
- Water Taxi: Private trips from Marina Mall for Dh3,750 per taxi (up to 20 passengers, wheelchair accessible).
- Abra: Departures from Al Jaddaf, Al Fahidi, Al Ghubaiba, and Marina Mall, priced at Dh150 per person. Children under two ride free. Services run from 10pm to 1:30am.
