The DP World ILT20 Development Tournament has entered its knockout stage, with Sharjah Warriorz, Gulf Giants, Desert Vipers and Abu Dhabi Knight Riders sealing their spots in the semi-finals.

The first clash will see Sharjah Warriorz face Gulf Giants at 5pm, followed by Abu Dhabi Knight Riders taking on Desert Vipers at 9pm later today at the ICC Academy in Dubai. All four teams ended the league stage with six points each, separated only by net run rate.

The last round of league matches on Sunday and Monday saw the Warriorz defeat the Dubai Capitals and MI Emirates, the Desert Vipers overcome the Knight Riders, and the Gulf Giants topple the Abu Dhabi. The standout performances included Jonathan Figy’s unbeaten 71 for the Gulf Giants, Raees Ahmed’s third half-century of the tournament for the Warriorz, and Hafiz Almas Ayub’s five-wicket haul for the Desert Vipers.

The tournament is a key platform for the UAE’s emerging cricketers, offering them a chance to impress ahead of the DP World ILT20 2025 Player Auction, scheduled shortly after the Asia Cup.
