Dubai will host a major K-pop event in January as Chung Ha and Onew of SHINee are set to headline a free, one-night-only concert at Dubai Festival City as part of the ongoing e& DSF Nights series during the Dubai Shopping Festival.

The performance will take place at Festival Bay, Dubai Festival City Mall, on Saturday, January 3, with the show scheduled to begin at 8.30pm. Entry is free, and organisers have advised fans to arrive early due to expected high demand.

Chung Ha, one of South Korea’s most successful solo artists, is known for hits including Gotta Go, Snapping and Roller Coaster. She first rose to prominence as a member of the project girl group I.O.I before establishing herself as a solo singer, dancer and choreographer. She arrives in Dubai following the release of her 2025 mini-album, Alivio.

Onew, a main vocalist of the globally popular boy band SHINee, has also built a strong solo career since 2022 with releases such as O (Circle), Animals and Beat Drum. He recently released his second solo album, Percent, in 2025. 

The Dubai concert offers fans a rare opportunity to see both artists perform live outside South Korea.
