Until today, the only waterfall in the UAE was the one in Khorfakkan.
Thanks to the amazing rain we’ve been having, a totally new waterfall has turned up in Jebel Jais!
And can you blame anyone for getting excited?

The footage, posted by the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM), showed a gushing waterfall cascading down the mountainside and into the road.

Rains blasting from the past

An average of 100mm of precipitation is recorded in the UAE every year, however, the Saih Al Salam region in Dubai has already recorded 141.8 mm of rain within the first three days of the new year!
This intensity was last experienced in 2019 (A century back)!
