Must-see performances at Global Village before the season closes on May 11

As Global Village gears up to wrap up its 29th season, the multicultural destination promises to go out with a bang. More than just a hub for food and shopping, this beloved Dubai hotspot celebrates the UAE’s identity as a melting pot of cultures, where expats and tourists alike come together to enjoy music, cuisine, and artistry from around the world.
Before the curtain falls on May 11, here are five unmissable events and performances lighting up the final weeks:
1. Music Launch with Fawad Khan and Vaani Kapoor
Fans of Indian cinema, take note.. Ahead of its global theatrical release on May 9, Abir Gulaal will get a special musical preview at Global Village.
When: April 19, 8 pm
Indian composer Amit Trivedi will perform his latest compositions from the film. Adding to the excitement, lead stars Fawad Khan and Vaani Kapoor will make a special appearance at the event. Attendees will have the rare opportunity to meet all three stars live on stage, as the event includes a special meet-and-greet session hosted by the popular presenters of City 1016, the official radio partner.
2. Amr Diab Live in Concert
Arabic pop icon Amr Diab is set to take the main stage with a free concert included in the entry ticket.
When: May 4, 8.30 pm
Expect crowd favourites like Tamally Ma’ak and Nour El Ain during this night dedicated to fans of Arabic music. A family- and ladies-only section will also be available.
3. Tribute Acts: Taylor Swift and Bon Jovi
From pop to rock, Global Village has it all covered with energetic tribute shows honouring two global legends.

Malevo – Argentina’s famed dance group known from America’s Got Talent brings a dynamic fusion of traditional drumming and modern choreography.
Also, be on the lookout for surprise Bollywood flash mobs around the park — bringing movie magic to life, complete with colourful costumes and catchy dance numbers.
5. Cyber City Danger Zone Stunt Show
Get ready for a high-octane spectacle that combines action, storytelling, and jaw-dropping stunts.
