New Dubai Orchestra to showcase Emirati talent on global stage

Dubai is setting the stage for a new era in music and cultural expression with the launch of the Dubai Orchestra, an initiative aimed at nurturing homegrown talent and showcasing Emirati musical excellence to the world.
Approved by the Executive Council of Dubai under the directives of Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the project promises to elevate Dubai’s position as a global centre for music, culture, and creativity. Aimed at nurturing an inclusive and professional music scene, the Dubai Orchestra will become a platform to showcase local and international talent, while also reflecting the emirate’s cultural identity.

- 50% of orchestra members will be Emiratis by 2033
