Toll gate timings for Ramadan have been changed in Abu Dhabi.
Drivers will have to pay toll fees from 8am to 10am and from 2pm to 4pm between Saturdays and Thursdays. On Fridays, no fees will be charged.
In the usual months, the toll gates function from 7am to 9am and from 5pm to 7pm.
Motorists are levied a fee of Dh4 every time they cross a gate. Dh16 is the daily cap.
The Integrated Transport Centre has confirmed the changes made.
Mawaqif parking fees in Abu Dhabi will be charged from 8am to midnight between Saturdays and Thursdays.
In the month of Ramadan, Abu Dhabi city bus services will be operational from 5am to 1am. Abu Dhabi suburb bus services will function from 5am to 12am throughout the week except for some services that will be operational 24/7.
Abu Dhabi Express services will be operational from 6am to 11pm during weekdays and from 6am to 1am during weekends.
In Al Ain city and suburban areas, the public buses will ply during Ramadan from 6am to 12am.
Buses shall stop running during iftar time.
The ITC Customer’s Happiness Centres in Abu Dhabi City Municipality and Al Ain City Municipality will work between Monday and Thursday from 9am to 2.30pm. On Friday, they will function from 9am to 12pm.
