Ramadan Nights in Abu Dhabi: Iftar cannon, pop-up market and family events
Umm Al Emarat Park is once again hosting Ramadan Nights at the Park, transforming one of Abu Dhabi’s most loved green spaces into a vibrant hub of Iftars, live music, markets and family-friendly activities throughout the Holy Month.
After a successful debut last year, the month-long celebration returns for Ramadan 2026, perfectly timed with cooler evenings and the UAE’s Year of Family theme.
Open-air dining under the stars

Each evening at Maghrib, the traditional Iftar cannon fires at the park’s main gate, a moment that brings conversations to a halt as families gather to break their fast together.
From 6pm to 8:30pm, the Ramadan Garden opens at the Children’s Garden, offering a dedicated outdoor iftar space surrounded by greenery.
Guests can expect:
- A curated menu by Emirati chef Mariam Al Mansoori
- Traditional Ramadan drinks
- Live oud music setting the mood
- Special rates for children aged 6–12
- Free entry for children under six
- Corporate group booking options
It’s an open-air iftar experience that blends heritage with contemporary Emirati hospitality.
Pop-up market and family activities

On Fridays and Saturdays from 8pm to 1am, the Promenade comes alive with a Ramadan Pop-Up Market.
Visitors can explore:
- Local small businesses and artisan vendors
- Food stalls and sweet treats
- Lantern-making workshops
- Hakawati storytelling sessions
- Live Arabic music
- Traditional Ramadan characters for children
It’s a lively yet intimate space designed for families to stroll, shop and soak up the festive atmosphere.
Wellness and reflection under the moonlight

For those seeking a quieter Ramadan experience, the Evening Garden will host wellness sessions throughout the month, including a Full Moon Ceremony on March 4 at 8pm.
With Iftar cannons, live oud performances, heritage experiences and late-night markets, Ramadan Nights at Umm Al Emarat Park is one of the most anticipated Ramadan events in Abu Dhabi.
For families looking to break their fast outdoors, support local businesses and enjoy cultural programming in a relaxed setting, it’s a standout addition to the capital’s Ramadan calendar.
