Mleiha National Park, Sharjah’s premier desert heritage and adventure destination, is inviting families, friends, and explorers to celebrate the New Year like never before with its ‘New Year Under the Stars’ experience.

Running from 6pm on December 31, 2025, to 8am on January 1, 2026, the overnight celebration combines a desert countdown, guided stargazing, live performances, and warm Arabian hospitality. Set against the UNESCO-listed Faya Paleolandscape, it promises a magical blend of astronomy, heritage, music, and adventure.

Guests will enjoy a comfortable camping package with tents, sleeping bags, and air mattresses, along with welcome mini bites, a New Year’s buffet dinner, and a continental breakfast curated to reflect the region’s warmth.

Highlights of the evening include:

• Guided stargazing with telescopes to spot planets and deep-sky objects.
• Live oud music, Tanoura dance, and a fire show countdown, finishing with a festive sparkler moment.
• Cultural and adventure stations from 6.30pm to 10pm, including henna art, camel rides, fossil workshops, and a soft archery challenge.

Dinner and performances are scheduled from 10pm to midnight, with live music, a Tanoura performance at 11.30pm, and the fire dance countdown at 11.55pm. Guests will welcome the new year at sunrise on January 1, 2026, with coffee and a continental breakfast before check-out at 8am.

Optional add-ons include a one-hour Sunset Safari through the desert and the Sand Surfer Experience, combining a dune drive with sand surfing.

The overnight camping experience costs Dh550 per adult (11+ years) and Dh390 per child (5–10 years), with children under five admitted free. Dinner and breakfast are included for paying adults and children.
