Sharjah is gearing up for a massive Eid Al Etihad celebration, and the line-up is bigger than ever
The UAE is getting ready to celebrate its 54th Eid Al Etihad, and Sharjah is already buzzing with plans. Think two full weeks of cultural shows, music nights, heritage displays, family fun, and community events, all rolling out from November 19 to December 2 across the emirate. It’s basically one big celebration of unity, heritage, and everything we love about the UAE.
This year, the spirit of National Day feels extra special. The country continues to push forward with bold development plans, but at its core remains the same vision: progress built on unity, openness, and a shared sense of purpose. And Sharjah’s huge celebrations reflect exactly that.
So what’s happening? A lot
The emirate has announced a packed programme designed to bring every part of the community together: Families, kids, students, artists, heritage lovers, and visitors. Parks, waterfronts, amphitheatres, heritage villages… every corner of Sharjah is getting in on the action.
Khalid Jasim Al Midfa, who chairs the committee behind the celebrations, extended warm wishes to the UAE leadership and the people as the country marks another year of togetherness and progress.
Where all the action is taking place
Sharjah’s main celebration venues include:
- Al Siyouh Family Park — hosting the official opening on November 19 at 5pm, followed by folk shows, art performances, competitions, and youth talks through to December 2.
- Kshisha Park — expect daily traditional shows, kids’ activities, workshops, and family-focused events.
- Sharjah National Park — turning into a vibrant village with heritage displays, craft workshops, food stalls, youth panels, and entertainment for all.
- Al Layyah Canal — hosting National Day events here for the very first time from November 28 to December 2, complete with performances, small-business stalls, youth project showcases, and more.
And that’s just the start.
A big musical night at the amphitheatre
Mark your calendars for November 29, Hussain Al Jassmi and Fouad Abdelwahad will take over the Khorfakkan Amphitheatre for a special National Day concert. Expect a full house and plenty of patriotic energy.
Celebrations across Sharjah’s regions
It’s not just the main city — the central and eastern regions have their own exciting schedules too:

Why this celebration matters
This year’s events tie into the UAE’s “Year of Community”, which focuses on strengthening social bonds, celebrating cultural identity, and building a shared vision for the future.
Khalid Jasim Al Midfa thanked all government entities involved and highlighted how these celebrations play a big role in nurturing national identity, especially for younger generations.
As the UAE continues its journey of growth and innovation, Eid Al Etihad remains a powerful reminder of unity, resilience, and the incredible progress the nation has made.
