Smashing Pumpkins are coming to Abu Dhabi: Tickets for their first UAE gig go on sale this Friday

It’s official, ’90s rock royalty Smashing Pumpkins are headed to the UAE for their first-ever UAE concert, and fans can now mark their calendars and set those alarms because tickets go on sale this Friday, May 23 at 12pm.

The iconic Chicago-born alternative-rockers will bring their “Rock Invasion 2025” tour to Etihad Arena, Yas Island, on Thursday, October 9, promising a night of thunderous riffs, deep nostalgia, and anthems that defined a generation.

Led by enigmatic frontman Billy Corgan, alongside founding members James Iha (guitar) and Jimmy Chamberlin (drums), and longtime guitarist Jeff Schroeder, the band shot to fame in the ’90s with hits like 1979, Bullet With Butterfly Wings, and Tonight, Tonight. Their critically acclaimed albums Siamese Dream and Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness cemented their status as one of the era’s most influential bands. Fans can also expect the set list to feature tracks such as Edin, Beguiled and Sighommi from their latest album Aghori Mhori Mei.

Now, with a global fanbase and over 30 million albums sold, the Smashing Pumpkins are returning to Asia for the first time in over a decade, and Abu Dhabi is on the map.
