The Sudanese community in the UAE will host the first-ever “Sudan Gate” festival at the Dubai Exhibition Centre (DEC) in Expo City, the day after tomorrow.

The event will be a colourful celebration of Sudanese culture, heritage, and arts, offering visitors an opportunity to explore traditional music, dance, performances, and cultural displays that reflect the country’s rich and diverse identity.

Around 10,000 people from the Sudanese community across the UAE are expected to attend, along with residents and visitors from other nationalities. The festival will also welcome prominent Sudanese figures living in the UAE, including business leaders, artists, athletes, and intellectuals.

The Sudan Gate festival not only highlights the vibrant cultural heritage of Sudan but also reflects the UAE’s commitment to tolerance and coexistence by bringing together communities through art and celebration.

The festival promises a lively programme of entertainment and cultural experiences for families and individuals of all backgrounds.
