Superman makes appearance at Dubai Mall ahead of movie’s premiere, Burj Khalifa to pay tribute to ‘Man of Steel’

In a bold and heroic transformation, one of the iconic divers from The Dubai Mall’s Waterfall Fountain has been reimagined as Superman, complete with his signature red cape and ‘S’ emblem, all in celebration of the highly anticipated DC Studios film, Superman.
This eye-catching installation comes as Reel Cinemas at Dubai Mall gears up to host the regional premiere, welcoming media and influencers for an exclusive early screening. The transformed diver will remain in heroic form until 31 July, offering fans and visitors a chance to snap a picture with Dubai’s own “Man of Steel.”

Adding to the spectacle, Burj Khalifa will light up with a special Superman-themed display on Tuesday, 8 July at around 8pm, delivering a larger-than-life tribute to the original superhero.
Superman Hits Cinemas July 10
Superman, the first DC Studios feature to hit screens under James Gunn’s creative direction, opens across the region on 10 July, distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures. The film promises an epic mix of action, humour, and heart, introducing a Superman shaped by compassion and an unshakable belief in humanity.
Directed by Gunn and produced alongside Peter Safran, the film marks a fresh chapter in the DC Universe and is based on the legendary character created by Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster.
