These family-friendly theme parks are waiting to greet you
When beaches and parks get a bit too monotonous, heading over to a theme park is a great way to have fun with family occasionally. Here are some of the family-friendly theme parks in the UAE.
Motiongate
The Hollywood-styled theme park, Motiongate, can be enjoyed by all ages. Located in Riverland Dubai, this attraction offers thriller rides and rollercoasters for the adventurous bunch while having rides that are entertaining for children. If the Capitol Bullet Train is unappealing to your child, you can take them to Smurf village to spark their fun.
If you want to spend time with family collectively, then head over to the Hollywood Theater for plenty of shows during the day or to the DreamWorks and Columbia pictures show for a meet and greet with characters.
From Sundays to Thursdays, the theme park timings are 11am to 8pm. And on Fridays and Saturdays, the timings change to 11am to 9pm. You can book your ticket on the spot or online at Dubai Parks™ and Resorts.
IMG Worlds of Adventure
IMG Worlds of Adventure is the world’s biggest indoor theme park, packed full of truly immersive thrills for all the family: From dinosaurs roaming the Earth, transforming into Ironman in time to save the world, or experiencing the mind-blowing thrill of raptor flight.

The theme park operates from noon to 10pm but the openings might change accordingly. So, check their website, IMG Worlds of Adventure, before your visit.
Lego Land Dubai
What screams fun anymore than Lego? Lego Land in Riverland Dubai is the best spot to take your family. It is an all-in-one package because not only are all the rides family-friendly, but it also has a water park adjoined to it, for some splash, and has a hotel with a lego interior to plan the perfect experience for your family.
You will also have the option of dining in cuisines from around the world. The ticket pricing ranges between Dh200 and Dh350 and the park stays open from 10am to 6pm on weekdays and 10am to 7pm on weekends.
Warner Bros- Abu Dhabi
Have you already been to IMG and are bored? The latest attraction in Abu Dhabi provides fun in a similar yet unique way. With different sections but the fun divided equally, all the sections have at least one thriller ride, one stimulation, and one family-friendly ride.
The amusement park has plenty of events going on. Currently, the batman season is underway which will last till March 31. Their website, Warner Bros, offers great discounts on tickets too.
Ferrari World- Abu Dhabi
Love speed? Gear up for the ride of your life only here at Ferrari World Abu Dhabi. Home to the world’s fastest rollercoaster, the highest loop ride, the tallest space-frame structure ever built on the planet, and over 40 record-breaking attractions.
But that’s not all! There is plenty of fun for kids as well. With rides and rollercoasters based on cars, it’s bound to pique your child’s interest as well.
Operating hours during February 2022 are from 12pm – 8pm. Special operating hours are February 4 and March 9 from 12pm – 5pm, and the park will reopen from 6pm until 10pm for the exclusive ladies’ event ‘Women of Ferrari.’ Ferrari World Abu Dhabi is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays except on February 14 and 15.
