This Dubai theatre is turning winter holidays into a stage full of stories for children
The Courtyard Playhouse in Al Quoz has announced the return of its Winter Theatre Camps, running from December 8, 2025, to January 2, 2026, offering children across Dubai the opportunity to explore storytelling, creativity, and performance within a real working theatre.
Designed for different age groups, the camps promise something magical for every young performer. Mini Storytellers (ages 4–7) will dive into heartwarming tales like Stick Man, The Snowflake, and The Tree That’s Meant to Be, while Junior Actors (ages 8–11) bring festive favourites such as How the Grinch Stole Christmas and The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe to life. Older kids, Young Performers (ages 12–14), can unleash their dramatic flair with playful scripts including The Play That Goes Wrong and Horrible Histories.
But it’s not just about acting; these camps nurture confidence, empathy, teamwork, and creative expression. Each week wraps up with a special showcase where families get to watch their children shine on stage.
With small class sizes, passionate instructors, and a theatre setting unlike any other, it’s no wonder the Courtyard Playhouse has become a Dubai family favourite.
Parents can even test the waters with trial classes on November 29. Fees start from Dh1,052 for four-day weeks, and a 10% Early Bird Discount is available until November 8, with sibling and bulk discounts also applicable.
So if your child dreams of the spotlight or just loves a good story, this winter, the stage is set in Al Quoz.
