This is when Expo City Mall will open to public

Dubai has revealed its plans to launch the highly-anticipated Expo City Mall in 2024, featuring a large-scale offering of over 190 shops and F&B outlets, reported the Dubai Media Office on Twitter.

Expo City Dubai is a 15-minute city offering an abundance of activities and amenities for residents, including 10km of cycling tracks, a 5km running track, children’s playgrounds, 45,000sqm of parks and gardens, as well as access to educational and cultural institutions, entertainment venues, office buildings, recreational facilities, dining options, and event spaces. To date, approximately one-third of the Expo City Dubai site has been built.
Expo City Dubai has officially opened its doors to the public on 1 October 2022, following the successful conclusion of Expo 2020 Dubai, which welcomed over 24 million visitors from 1 October 2021 to 31 March 2022.
As with its predecessor, Expo City Dubai can be conveniently accessed via the Dubai Metro, and admission to the site is free. However, certain attractions within the city may require separate admission fees. In line with efforts to promote a sustainable environment, private vehicles will not be permitted within the premises. Visitors can instead make use of alternative modes of transportation such as buggies, scooters, and bicycles, which will be readily available on-site.
The use of single-use plastic is also prohibited on the premises, and the buildings will adhere to international sustainability standards to reduce energy and water usage. Recently, Expo City Dubai also launched the first phase of Expo Valley and Expo Central.
