The UAE fuel price committee has announced petrol and diesel prices for the month of October 2023 in line with its monthly pricing adjustments. After a rise in September, petrol prices have gone up this month too.
Diesel prices for the month have been fixed at Dh3.57 per litre.
Meanwhile, global oil prices have been on the rise since the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries and its partners (known as OPEC+) agreed to extend oil production cuts they announced in April through the end of 2024.
OPEC+ pumps approximately 40 per cent of the world’s crude and policy decisions can have a significant impact on prices.
