UAE travel update: Air Arabia resumes flights to 18 countries

Air Arabia has confirmed the gradual resumption of a limited number of flights to and from the UAE, as the airline works to restore its network by March 22, subject to all operational and regulatory approvals.

The airline said the resumed flights will connect Sharjah, Abu Dhabi, and Ras Al Khaimah to 44 destinations across 18 countries, covering key markets in the Middle East, Asia, Europe, and Africa.

Destinations included in the limited operations feature major cities such as Vienna, Dhaka, Cairo, Athens, Mumbai, Delhi, Milan, Kathmandu, Karachi, Riyadh, Bangkok, Istanbul, and Muscat, among others.

Passengers can book available flights through the airline’s official website, mobile application, or travel agents. Customers whose flights were previously cancelled can also rebook their trips, provided they have not already chosen modification or refund options.

Air Arabia added that travellers affected by ongoing cancellations have several choices, including rescheduling their trip once without extra fees within a 30-day window, receiving a full credit voucher, or requesting a full refund to their original payment method.

The airline advised passengers to update their contact information through the Booking Management service to receive the latest flight notifications. It also acknowledged the high volume of customer inquiries while reaffirming that the safety of passengers and crew remains its top priority.
