Weather warning: Rough seas, dust storms, and rains to hit UAE

Planning a trip to the beach? Think again! A rough sea alert was issued on Wednesday morning. The National Center of Meteorology (NCM) is warning of turbulent conditions in the Arabian Gulf. Powerful northwesterly winds of up to 40 km/h are set to whip up high waves, reaching a staggering nine feet high.
But that’s not all. In its daily weather report, the NCM stated that the UAE’s skies will be dusty and partly cloudy, with a chance of light rainfall in Northern and Eastern regions. Winds are expected to kick up dust and sand, making road conditions hazardous. Drivers, take extra care.
Those with allergies should also brace themselves for discomfort.
Temperatures are set to drop, with highs in the upper 30s and lows plunging to 16°C. Right now, Dubai is at 22°C under partly cloudy skies.
Humidity levels could hit 95 per cent, and by nightfall, some areas might experience fog or mist, making for a damp and hazy morning on Thursday.
