Wizz Air brings back Abu Dhabi–Cyprus flights with fares at just Dh174

Travel between Abu Dhabi and Cyprus is about to get easier and much more affordable. Low-cost carrier Wizz Air has confirmed it will restart its direct flights between Larnaca and Abu Dhabi from November 15, giving holidaymakers and business travellers a budget-friendly way to connect with the Mediterranean.

The service, which was paused earlier this year due to operational challenges, will now return with four weekly flights, on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays. Even better, one-way fares start from just Dh174, making it one of the cheapest ways to hop between the UAE capital and Cyprus.

For leisure travellers, this means a quick escape to Cyprus’s golden beaches, blue waters, and lively dining scene. For business passengers, it’s a convenient new route linking two growing hubs of commerce and culture.

Wizz Air says it expects strong demand for the relaunched service, highlighting Abu Dhabi’s growing role as a gateway city. The airline, known for its ultralowcost model, is also planning to reintroduce popular perks like Wizz MultiPass and the All You Can Fly subscription, both of which proved a hit with UAE-based travellers before.

This relaunch comes as part of Wizz Air’s broader strategy to focus on profitable Middle Eastern routes while maintaining its strong European footprint. The airline is confident that Abu Dhabi–Larnaca will be a winner thanks to its mix of leisure and business demand.

So whether you’re planning a weekend getaway in Cyprus or looking for a budget-friendly link to Europe, it might be time to check Wizz Air’s website; those Dh174 tickets are already on sale.
