NFTs are everywhere, they’ve even managed to garnish the culinary sector. In the first project of its kind, Greek chef Alexandros Sperxos is combining his passion for food and art by sprinkling the digital world with his culinary tokens.

The first collection of the chef’s NFTs include digital artwork of his ‘Glow in the Dark’ series of dishes.

The digital images include ‘The Harvest’ (burrata salad, crispy tomato skin and Greek dehydrated olives, dressed with pesto), and ‘Sweet of the Greek Gods’ (foggy Greek orange cake nestled on top of ice mountains). There are also mocktail images available: ‘The Art of Vitamin’ (an organic earthy citrus number with crispy orange cigars) and ‘The Volcano’ made with smoky purple berries, mint and wild bee honey.

There is also a NFT of Chef Alexandros Sperxos and bidders will have the chance to meet him at a private ‘glow in the dark experience’ in The Alley, a glow-in-the-dark padel court in Al Quoz, Dubai.

Food really is art. Now just digitally as well.
