World’s longest diamond necklace to be unveiled at Sharjah Jewellery Show

A breathtaking 108-metre diamond necklace, designed to set a Guinness World Record, will be unveiled at the 55th Watch and Jewellery Middle East Show opening tomorrow at Expo Centre Sharjah.

Created by Amaar Jewels, the necklace features more than 600 lab-grown diamonds set in 18-karat rose gold, and is poised to become the longest diamond necklace in the world. The official Guinness World Records assessment will take place on the first day of the event, May 28.

The masterpiece combines cutting-edge craftsmanship and modern design with record-breaking ambition, marking a major highlight at this year’s show.

Jewellery Meets Innovation

The show, organised by Expo Centre Sharjah with support from the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI), has become one of the region’s most prestigious platforms for luxury gold, diamonds, and timepieces.

Over 500 exhibitors from more than 20 countries, including the UAE, India, Italy, the UK, the USA, China, and Japan, are participating, alongside 1,800 designers and experts. Countries joining the exhibition for the first time include Russia, Mexico, Tanzania, and Egypt.

Eid Shoppers Welcome

With the exhibition running from May 28 to June 1, and coinciding with the Eid Al Adha shopping period, organisers expect more than 80,000 visitors to attend. Shoppers can look forward to a wide range of exclusive jewellery, luxury watches, and rare gemstone pieces, all under one roof.
