Miral has announced that the latest expansion of Yas Waterworld Yas Island will officially open to guests on April 4, bringing a wave of new attractions and experiences.

The expansion continues the park’s immersive “Lost City” theme, inspired by the Legend of the Lost Pearl, and introduces 11 new rides and attractions, including eight slides, two jumping platforms, and a relaxing lounging pool, taking the total number of experiences to over 70.

Among the highlights is Matamir’s Drop, set to become the UAE’s tallest waterslide, featuring a dramatic plunge from over 40 metres and a 233-metre ride. Thrill-seekers can also enjoy Sahel Matamir, a high-speed tube racer with bursts of acceleration and zero-gravity moments.

Other attractions include Matamir Loop, a fast-paced body slide, and Matamir Twist, Matamir Lights, combining sharp drops with immersive lighting effects. For competitive fun, Matamir Splash offers a side-by-side racing experience.

For those looking to relax, Sarab provides a spacious leisure pool, while Al Afda invites guests to jump into the water from elevated platforms.

The expansion marks a significant milestone in enhancing Yas Island’s entertainment offerings, blending adventure, storytelling, and innovation for visitors of all ages.
