Your one-stop guide to the Quoz Arts Festival in Dubai
Mark your calendar, one of Dubai’s most loved cultural weekends is back.
The Quoz Arts Festival returns for its 14th edition on January 24 and 25, transforming Al-Serkal
Avenue into a buzzing playground of art, music, film, food and creativity. Whether you’re an art
lover, culture seeker or just looking for a vibrant weekend plan, this is one festival you won’t
want to miss.
From cinematic showcases such as The Reel Palestine Film Festival to feel-good sessions like
Yoga in the Yard, Quoz Arts Festival promises two full days of immersive experiences,
interactive workshops and live performances. Expect bold art installations, hands-on activities
and a festival atmosphere that runs from morning well into the night.
Since its debut in 2012, the festival has grown into a firm favourite within Dubai’s cultural
calendar, getting bigger, bolder each year. This year’s line-up is no exception, featuring standout
names such as Yasmine Hamdan, creative workshops including The Makerspace, kids’
programmes like Space Cadet at Cinema Akil, and a wide selection of food, retail and design
pop-ups. Keep an eye out for popular installations like Vinyl Souk and exhibitions such as
Unfolding Blue.
What’s in it for visitors?
If spending your weekend surrounded by creativity fits into your plans, you’re in the right
place. Visitors can explore gallery exhibitions, take part in photo marathons, join wellness talks
and enjoy hands-on workshops ranging from cupcake decorating to candle making.
Wear comfortable shoes, dress light but bring a jacket or pullover as January evenings can get
breezy. Rest areas and seating will be available throughout the venue.
