1086.10 carat diamond on sale at Dubai Diamond Exchange
Valentine’s Day is just around the corner and as diamonds are a woman’s best friend, here’s a dazzling diamond you shouldn’t miss out on.
Dubai Diamond Exchange hosted a tender this week featuring a rare scintillating 1086.10 carat gem diamond. The tender was administered by Koin International and took place ahead of the Dubai Diamond Conference which is set to open doors on February 21.
The event brings global diamond vendors together to discuss the future of the diamond landscape. Sourced from southern Africa, this was the largest gem quality rough diamond ever. The event was attended by several prestigious figures, including Martin Leake, the special advisor (Precious Stones) of the DMCC; Ahmed Bin Sulayem, executive chairman and CEO of the DMCC; and Jacob Gill, chairman of DDE and Rough Manger of Koin International.
