Five lucky shoppers in the UAE have walked away with scholarships worth a total of Dh100,000 in the grand finale of Dubai Summer Surprises (DSS) 2025, which concluded yesterday (Sunday).

Each winner will receive Dh20,000 in scholarship funds, as their raffle coupons will be drawn during a glittering closing ceremony at Mercato Mall.

The winners are:

• Balakumar Ramanathan (Ticket A00-114815)
• Noor Saba (Ticket D5F-108085)
• Athar Ullah Khan Mohammed (Ticket D5F-105757)
• Teofila Lauigan (Ticket D5F-102143)

The names were announced by senior executives of Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment (DFRE), organisers of DSS.

However, the celebrations didn’t stop there; the DSS also unveiled its mega raffle winners, including a Dh1 million cash prize and a brand-new Nissan Patrol SUV.

This year’s DSS was the biggest yet, with nine new cars given away through the Dubai Shopping Malls Group’s raffle promotion. Shoppers earned a digital coupon for every Dh200 spent at participating malls, making it one of the most rewarding editions of the summer festival to date.

Running from June 27 to August 31, 2025, DSS once again proved why it’s Dubai’s most anticipated shopping and entertainment season, delighting residents and visitors alike with discounts, raffles, and family-friendly events.
