A huge new lifestyle hub is coming to Dubai: Here’s what to expect
Al Quoz is about to get another reason to visit.
A new lifestyle destination called CMPLX is set to open by the end of 2026, transforming a collection of industrial warehouses into one of Dubai’s coolest new hangouts.
Located in the heart of Al Quoz’s Arts and Culture District, the 15,000+ sq ft venue will blend speciality coffee, all-day dining, wellness, shopping and creative events under one roof.
What to expect at CMPLX

Rather than a traditional mall or food hall, CMPLX is designed as a community space where people can work, relax and connect.
The venue will feature seven converted warehouse spaces centred around three key experiences:
- A speciality coffee roastery and restaurant serving freshly roasted coffee alongside an all-day dining menu.
- A dedicated yoga and Pilates studio designed for fitness, mindfulness and wellness.
- A flexible events venue that will host art exhibitions, live performances, workshops and cultural events throughout the year.
At the centre of it all will be a landscaped courtyard, creating an open-air social space for visitors to gather between experiences.
Keeping Al Quoz’s industrial character

CMPLX isn’t trying to hide its warehouse roots.
Expect soaring ceilings, exposed materials, mezzanine spaces and an industrial aesthetic that reflects the neighbourhood’s creative identity while introducing modern design elements.
The project aims to create a space that feels equally suited to morning coffee runs, wellness classes, creative collaborations and evening events.
A big Japanese restaurant is already confirmed

One of the first brands announced for CMPLX is Hikiniku To Come, the cult Japanese restaurant making its GCC debut.
Known for its signature hamburger steak served with rice, the restaurant has built a loyal following across Asia thanks to its simple, highly specialised menu.
The concept is being brought to Dubai by FYTE Hospitality, the team behind Kokoro Handroll Bar and Window, with the restaurant expected to open as part of the development.
Another reason to explore Al Quoz

Over the past few years, Al Quoz has evolved from an industrial area into one of Dubai’s most exciting lifestyle and cultural neighbourhoods.
With galleries, independent cafés, boutique fitness studios and creative spaces continuing to open, CMPLX looks set to become another major destination for residents looking for something beyond the city’s traditional malls.
If everything goes to plan, expect CMPLX to open its doors by the end of 2026.
